Iranti is built on trust. You're sharing your family's most personal stories—grandma's secrets, old photos, names dates places. We take that seriously.
📌 What We Collect
- Account info: name, email, password (encrypted, obviously)
- Family data: names, dates, places, relationships you add
- Photos: images you upload of family members
- Matches: potential relative connections our algorithm finds
🔐 What We DON'T Do
- ❌ Sell your data to anyone. Ever.
- ❌ Share your tree with strangers (unless YOU choose to search)
- ❌ Use your photos for anything without permission
- ❌ Email you spam (just match notifications if you want them)
👀 About Those Matches: When you search or use our matching feature, you're choosing to compare your ancestors with others. We only show potential matches—you decide if you want to connect.
🌍 Who Can See What
- Your tree: Only you, unless you share login (don't do that lol)
- Search results: Other users can see names/dates if you're in the database, but not your whole tree
- Matches: Only shown to you and the person you might match with
📸 Photos
You own your photos. We just store them so your family can see grandma's wedding day. If you delete them, they're gone (from our servers anyway).
🍪 Cookies
Just session cookies so you stay logged in. No tracking, no ads, no bullshit.
✉️ Email
We only email you about potential matches (if you enable it) or important account stuff. No newsletters. No "we miss you" emails.

📝 The Basics
By using Iranti, you agree to not be a jerk. That's basically it.
✅ You Can:
- Add your real family members (even the messy ones)
- Upload photos you own or have permission to share
- Search for relatives in other people's trees
- Export your tree (take your data with you if you leave)
- Delete your account and all your data anytime
❌ You Can't:
- Add fake people for trolling (we'll know, grandma's ghost will haunt you)
- Upload photos you stole from the internet
- Harass other users about their family secrets
- Try to hack us (we're broke, there's nothing here for you)
- Blame us if you find out great-aunt Mildred had three husbands
👵 Grandma Clause: If your grandma had 12 kids with one husband, left him, remarried, and had more—that's REAL LIFE. We support complicated families. No judgment zone.
⚖️ Legal Stuff Lawyers Make Us Say
- We provide the platform, you provide the content. You're responsible for what you add.
- We try to keep the site up, but if it breaks, we'll fix it. If aliens attack, all bets are off.
- Your data is yours. If you leave, you can export it. After deletion, it's gone from our active servers (backups take 30 days to die).
🛑 Account Termination
If you're a jerk (spam, harassment, fake data), we can ban you. No refunds (it's free anyway lol).
📱 Disclaimer
Iranti is for preserving family memory. We're not responsible if you discover your family tree is actually a circle. Some secrets were meant to stay buried.

We're running this on dreams and coffee. If the site goes down, we're probably sleeping or fixing a bug. Give us a minute.
